Event promotion for major sporting charity

Challenge

Huddersfield Giants Community Trust (HGCT) is a non-profit organisation. They deliver sports and education-based initiatives into the community. Their aims are to inspire, create opportunities, promote being active, and as a whole build a stronger community where everyone belongs.

Their aim is to be recognised and supported as a charity and become the number one provider of fun, sport, education and social inclusion, whilst meeting the needs of the local community.

HCGT needed assistance to promote a large fundraising event, The Giants Glitz & Glam Gala, featuring The Glamorous Globe Girls drag collective form London’s West End.

What we did

Created a Partially Addressed Mail campaign (PAM) mailing for businesses with specific geo-demographic profile areas and within a certain radius of the event location.

Produced a range of printed event collateral including Invitations and Gift Aid envelopes using our Iridesse GOLD ink print technology.

We further supported promotion of event using social media and e-mail.

Results

Within a matter of weeks ticket sales had far exceeded initial targets.

Applying our charity expertise we were able to allow HGCT to take advantage of In order to take advantage of Gift Aid.
